About Us

Who We ARe

We are women from every walk of life who turned to alcohol because life was too overwhelming, and alcohol seemed to help only to realize drinking was the problem.

We are women who don’t find the traditional way of getting sober accommodating for who we truly are as women. We buck the system of AA, 12 Steps, and traditional religious beliefs.

Our ultimate goal is to empower you to live your daily life while dedicating some time and resources to yourself—a small yet meaningful investment in your journey to strength and freedom. Over time, you’ll become firmly grounded in your roots, leaving alcohol and its challenges behind as though they belong to another life entirely. Along the way, you’ll build lifelong friendships with women who walk this journey with you, supporting one another to grow in sobriety and celebrating each accomplishment together. Together, we create a community of transformation, resilience, and joy.

We found a new way, through 14 years of research, finding your way out of the bottle starts by looking in the mirror. We finally accepted if we look at ourselves in the mirror and only focus on what is in front of us, we will begin to heal from the drinking we have brought on ourselves.

Our program is designed by women like you. We wish to empower you to discover your strength and rebuild your life, one day at a time. Every step toward recovery is a victory, and with the right tools and a community that believes in you, overcoming the challenges of alcoholism is more than possible—it’s a journey of self-discovery and renewal.

Research indicates that roughly 1 in every 10 women will encounter alcohol misuse or develop an alcohol use disorder at some point in their lifetime. This statistic speaks volumes about the unique challenges women face with alcohol:

At I AM AND ME, this 1 in 10 statistic is a clarion call for targeted, compassionate support. Our program is designed specifically for women, providing an environment of connection, empowerment, and tailored strategies that promote lasting recovery and personal growth.

When you join us, you’re not just learning to overcome dependency; you’re investing in a community that celebrates every step of your journey toward renewed health and personal freedom.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue."

(Proverbs 31:25-26)
